*Food for thought* How do we fix traffic in India's metro cities? "Walk or cycle more" isn't the answer. It's a coordination problem. Think of a beehive. Thousands of bees move without collision because they operate as one system. Our cities have millions of people moving at the same hours, toward the same places, with almost no coordination between them. Bigger crowds need smarter control. Imagine a regional "traffic brain" that connects companies, builders, financial districts and traffic police: staggering office hours by zone, timing signals to real flow, and planning new buildings around the roads that already exist. Parts of this exist in Singapore and London. India could build its own version. But the most important infrastructure isn't on the road. It's *civic sense: lane discipline, not blocking junctions, letting ambulances through. No system works if we don't.* **If you could change one thing about traffic in your city, what would it be?**
